The Reverend Donald A. Glenn II is a child of God with a mission. Hailing from Cleveland Ohio Donald he was born on May 8 to Donald and Jennifer Glenn. Donald is a 2015 graduate of Grand Canyon University’s (GCU) College of Theology with a Master of Arts degree in concentrations of Pastoral Ministry and Christian Leadership. He also is a 2013 graduate of Ohio Christian University (OCU) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with concentrations in Christian Ministry and Music.

Currently, Donald is pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis on Higher Education from Grand Canyon University. While attending OCU Rev. Glenn participated in several leadership roles that shape the path to where he is today. He currently serves as GCU’s Director for the Diversity and Inclusion Department. Every day Rev. Glenn is influential in teaching and mentoring the next generations from across the country and around the world of the Love of God and focusing on unifying the body of Christ.

Born and raised in the church, Rev. Glenn began matriculating in the ministry at a very young age, from accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the tender age of 9 to accepting his call to ministry in 2004. This would ultimately change his life forever. In 2004 Donald pioneered a bible study at Bedford High School in Bedford, OH, and discovered his passion for young men and women. At the age of 14, God graced Rev. Glenn with gifts to serve Living Word Family Church in Cleveland, OH as their Minister of Music until it was time for him to be trained in the preaching ministry. Donald was licensed in 2009 and he served as an Associate Minister at New Freedom Ministries of Cleveland, OH. While serving at New Freedom Ministries, God called Min. Glenn to launch what was then Lighthouse on the Rock Youth Ministry.

This ministry was dedicated to uniting God-Seekers all across the Northeast Ohio Region. Rev. Glenn’s singing and preaching have gone hand in hand over the years. In 2010, Donald was selected to tour with the Gospel singing group ABLAZE, where he traveled across the nation proclaiming the Gospel. Donald is also the founder of the gospel groups Chosen Generation (Cleveland, OH) and Uplifted Gospel Choir (Circleville, OH), and he currently serves as the Director of OCU’s Voices of Victory Gospel Choir. Obtaining a well-rounded education is very important to Rev. Glenn. In 2016, Donald returned to Grand Canyon University in pursuit of his Doctoral Degree in Strategic Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. He was also ordained by his spiritual father Dr. Rod Parsley of World Harvest Church, where he faithfully serves as a member of their ministerial alliance.

Over the years, Donald has become instrumental when it comes to working with young people and is very concerned with creating solutions and awareness to the issues they face. Through the guidance of the Holy Ghost, in 2017 Donald was instructed to relaunch what is now Lighthouse Church on the Rock, where he served as Pastor. For two years Rev. Glenn remained faithful in that assignment until July of 2019 when God lead him to relocate to Phoenix AZ to the ground campus of Grand Canyon University.

There he serves as Director of all of GCU’s efforts and initiatives. Daily Donald works to support and mentor students from all across the nation and all around the world. Rev. Glenn’s endeavors for Embracing | Enlisting | Equipping | Empowering | Encouraging are unified by his passion to share, preach, teach and minister the Gospel so that people everywhere will have a better understanding of the truth about themselves and God through the word of God and to know that He is ALIVE!.
